Producer/Director
For Catherine Gray, starting FYI Productions, Inc.,
in 2002, was the natural next step in her career. Over
the past twenty years, Gray has enjoyed many successes
working in Cable Television. After earning her Bachelor
of Science degree, in Broadcasting, from the University
of Florida, Gray gained invaluable experience working
on both sides of the camera. She is the producer of
hundreds of television commercials and two television
series, "Way Off Broadway" and "Hello
South Florida."
In 1987, "Way- Off Broadway" was the first
gay-oriented television series on broadcast television
(WBFS-Miami) to air in the United States. She later
served as a Vice President for C1TV, a start-up gay
cable network; and, Rivendell Media-NYC, a national
gay media company. Gray has also worked as a consultant
to Bravo and AMC Networks. She is a member of IFP and
PowerUp.
Catherine also launched production company ShowBizShorts
and focuses on a new division called Corp
Shorts.

Betty DeGeneres
Host
Betty DeGeneres is an author, mother of actress Ellen
DeGeneres and one of the strongest advocates for gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgender families. She wrote
Love, Ellen: A Mother/Daughter Journey (William Morrow
& Co., 1999) and Just a Mom (Advocate Books, 2000).
Betty DeGeneres has worked with the Human Rights Campaign
on many projects since 1997- the year Ellen DeGeneres
came out as a lesbian. In 1998, Betty DeGeneres became
the first heterosexual spokesperson for HRC's National
Coming Out Project, touring the country with the message
that all parents should love and support their children.
